Ella Hooper burst onto the Australian music scene as a teenager, making an indelible mark with her band Killing Heidi. Unearthed by Triple J at just 13, Ella achieved her first number one with "Mascara" on her 17th birthday, and at 18, became the first woman to win APRA’s prestigious Songwriter of the Year award.
